The new BlueBird ceramic fibre top is the best we have ever offered. In the previous top, the element was embedded between two layers of ceramic fibre board. In the new vacuum-formed top, the element stays cooler and lasts longer because it is embedded just beneath the inner surface. The previous design used a coiled element. Because the new top has a sinusoidal “wavy” element, the entire element is near the ceramic fibre surface.
