The Dichroic on copper foil is a new way of working with Dichroic in lampwork . You can roll a hot glass bead over the foil and pick up a layer of dichroic and then decorate or encase.This is far easier than the old method of cutting the dichroic glass sheet and laying this on your bead  while preheating.
